Event Details: BBB Midsummer Drive, Feasting, Bonfire and Celebration
Midsummer, also know as the summer solstice, is celebrated on or around June 21st, marking the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Traditionally, it has been a time of festivals, bonfires, feasting and maypole dancing. The British are famous for the "Morris Dance."
Ricky and Hannah will lead a caravan on a short drive for those who wish to drive with a group. Meet at Schnuck’s in Roscoe at 4:30 with arrival at the Mashke Estate planned at 5:30. If going direct, please meet at the Mashke’s around 5:30.
After the drive, enjoy some feasting, bonfire and Maypole activities, and maybe a Morris Dance.
